All attempts will be made to fulfill the date and time requested, anticipate the request to be fulfilled within 24 to 48 hours of the request. Once the inspection has been scheduled by the AFPD inspector, the contact listed on the permit application will be sent an automated email indicating the date and time of the scheduled inspection.

Inspection Cancellations
It is the responsibility of the requesting contractor to cancel the inspection at least 24 hours prior to scheduled inspection. If the representative from the requesting company is not on-site during the inspection window, or the work is not complete when the inspector arrives a re-inspection fee will be assessed, and a subsequent inspection shall be scheduled at another date and time.
Construction Fire Safety
All new buildings and building additions will be required to have an approved construction fire safety plan provided to AFPD prior to a building permit being issued.
