Community Wildfire Protection Plan
Arvada Fire is creating a Community Wildfire Protection Plan (CWPP) to reduce the wildfire risk to our communities. A CWPP is designed to assist agencies such as Arvada Fire, landowners, and residents in ensuring that a future wildfire is avoided or mitigated. Through a collaborative process, a CWPP identifies at-risk areas and makes recommendations for decreasing those risks through measures such as fuels reduction, structure protection, and public education.
