Station 8

  1. 1
  2. 2

Station 8 primarily serves the west side of the fire district. Funds to construct the station were voter-approved in 2005, with the station being placed into service in 2008.

Station 8 houses Engine 58, Brush 58, Boat 58, and Medic 58. This allows personnel to respond not only to motor vehicle accidents, structure fires, and medical calls, but also to emergencies on our local reservoirs and lakes. Our firefighters also are trained to fight fires in the urban interface and forest areas and are ready to respond nationally to assist with fire suppression efforts on large federally managed wildfires.

All Station 8 firefighters hold an EMT-B certification at a minimum and each crew is also staffed with a paramedic. This allows us to carry advanced life support equipment and provide the highest level of pre-hospital emergency medical care.
